I received this short email yesterday:

"During your conference registration process, you were asked for your shoe size.
We wanted to inform you that a small change has been made to one of our sponsorship deliverables and we will not be distributing sandals/footwear at the Conference."

I find this hilarious. As if we all expected sandals, and would be so disappointed, as to cancel our registration.
